First initiates
Two Togolese were initiated to the first degree in Accra and received authority to organise the Order’s installation in Togo.

A charter for Saint Augustine
An installation decree is dated 3 August, and the charter of Saint Augustine Commandery no. 364 is issued on 21 November.

Installation in Togo
The first Commandery was installed and then inaugurated at Saint Augustine Church in Amoutivé, according to the manual’s account.

Grand Commandery of Togo
The manual’s detailed account dates the installation of the Togolese Grand Commandery in Lomé to this day. Another passage mentions a 1975 creation; the difference remains noted.

The principle of restructuring
The Grand Convention in Kara endorsed the principle of two Grand Commanderies and began a restructuring process.

A territorial project
A new proposal retained the Lomé East and Lomé West territories; the project was then submitted to the Supreme Council following the documented consultations.

Supreme Council decision
The Supreme Council approved the creation of the Lomé East and Lomé West Grand Commanderies and the Supreme Subordinate Commandery of Togo.

Installation and presentation of the charters
The Supreme Subordinate Commandery of Togo and the Lomé East and Lomé West Grand Commanderies were installed on 10 January; the charters were officially presented the following day.

The early milestones are drawn from the GBOT First Degree Training Manual (2016). The restructuring milestones are drawn from the KSJI knowledge-base update (2025). Where the 2016 manual gives conflicting dates for the Grand Commandery, the timeline retains that uncertainty.
